The cutting blades used by REMET CNC TECHNOLOGY in the Red Dragon chopper are made of wear-resistant steel.
Knives are available in a variety of sizes, the basic guideline is the width of 175, 215, 295 mm, depending on the type, different blade heights depending on the shaft gap of the respective chopper.
The position of the blades can be adjusted so that the distance between the blades is about 01-02 mm.
Knives can be sharpened several times, one sharpening is enough to cut down about 100-200 m3 of wood, everything depends on the type of wood and the impurities present.
The knives are sharpened for 3000 HUF each, the knives are sharpened in the appropriate metalworking plant, where a specialist sharpens the knife on a milling machine without overheating.
