The Scheppach HP 2200 S universal plate compactor weighs 102 kg and is suitable for compacting soil in gardens, asphalt work, road repairs, paving compaction and other groundworks. Thanks to its simple steering, it can also be used along trenches, wall foundations, and for work around supporting pillars. It has a simple but very rugged construction, making it ideal for use in difficult conditions in which similar machines usually operate. The most important advantages of the machine are the reliable 196 cm3 powerful motor and the sturdy one-piece cast base plate, which makes it extremely resistant to breakage. The base plate has rounded edges and the shape makes it comfortable to work in the corners. The balance and forward movement of the machine are also unique, with minimal side slippage. The forward thrust of the machine is controlled so that the operator can easily choose the reverse direction. The complete basic equipment of the machine includes additional accessories, which are only available at an additional cost for other machines: e.g. grip, protective metal frame, rubber base plate for compaction of pavements and chassis with wheels for easy off-road driving.
