The combiner is a necessary tool on every farm. It has a wide range of uses throughout the season, from early spring to late autumn. It can be used to prepare the field before sowing, while after plowing the soil is uneven and cut with deep furrows, a combiner with a clod breaker works perfectly. The advantage of combining two tillage machines into one tillage unit is that in one pass we can obtain well-prepared soil for further work.
The cultivator is designed to mix, level the soil and at the same time remove the remains of emerging weeds.
The twine roller, or clod breaker, slightly compacts the soil, leveling it, and the toothed bars break the top layer of the soil. As a result, we get the first thin, well-ground soil layer, the second layer is already slightly compacted.
This device is also irreplaceable in the fall, when the vegetable harvest in home gardens ends. We can effectively remove plants and weeds. The machine is excellent for weed control, because it pulls out entire plants along with the roots, preventing further growth of weeds. Contrary to appearances, this tool is very versatile and is useful throughout the season.
The 150 cultivator + 4FARMER clod breaker roller is a 2-in-1 machine
The cultivator has a two-beam frame, on which the cultivator teeth (rap) are attached, ending with coulters. The width of the cultivator is 150 cm. After that, a single-row roller with a diameter of 30 cm is installed behind the cultivator. It has toothed bars, which are responsible for crushing the earth. In the ROL 150 model, the string roller has 6 toothed bars, its working width is 150 cm. The kit also includes a rotary screw, thanks to which it is possible to adjust the cultivator.
Of course, the cultivator and the string roller can also be used separately - both machines have Cat I and Cat II hitches.
To perform all work with the cultivator efficiently and effectively, remember to adjust it properly so that the top layer of the earth is even, and stones and clods are not pulled to the surface, and the soil is not excessively dry.
